Soaking Dripping Wet

This is the most INCREDIBLE day of my life. Man... In the morning I just sat around reading Reader's Digest, until about 11am, when my dad drove me to Serene Centre McDonalds for lunch, and to meet for church cell. I can't believe the terribly unhealthy lifestyles of Nanyang Primary School pupils. I have NEVER been to Serene Centre McDonalds before, and the first time I went, I saw at least FOUR people from school, namely: Rachel Lim (my DARHLING), Richmond Lee (the SHITHEAD who whacked me), Darren (his pal) & this teeny little girl wearing the Nanyang Red House T-shirt. Amazing? I should think so.
I ate a sundae for my lunch, and took the calorie sheet away just for fun, because last time we had this motion for our first sparring session- "THBT fast food companies should pay compensation for damaging peoples' health." Anyway, wouldn't it be nice to know how many calories you are ingesting each time? =)
Then we walked to Botanica Gardens. The weather was GREAT, not too hot but sunny all the same. My group leader Michelle came up with the name "Champions", which turned out to be a wonderful prophesy. Then again, when I first joined Trinity, a leader asked me what my least favourite subject in school was and I was unable to answer, so he said, "Wah! This one is going to be Singapore's top PSLE scorer!" Not that I have little faith, but that prophesy does seem a bit extreme. Anyway, after that we came up with a cheer and, when we cheered, I thought,"Oh my gawd! What a LOUSY group. How to win???" Haha.
After we got our clue "Where the tallest tree reaches for a degree", we went to the place in between NUS and the tallest tree, where we found our first station. As we were halfway through carrying out the activity, it started to drizzle. Then rain CATS & DOGS ^^ That was the good bit. We made a mad rush to this Gazebo, and we played this nice game in which u had to find a trail from one end to the other of a 4-by-4 square. We thought we wouldn't be able to do it, but in the end we miraculously managed! We got our next clue and guessed the right location, but because there was lightning, we weren't allowed to proceed to our new destination, Cluny Park Gate. To pass time, we played "Big Lemon Small Melon". Since I played "Big Fish Small Fish" (which is quite similar) before, I didn't make any mistakes... But seriously, it wasn't easy man...
After playing for a while we got a call from Pastor Susie to go to another Gazebo to collect our bags. Some small guys took the lead and I was right behind them, so when they took a shortcut through the grass (which was flooded in muddy water), I followed and got my BRAND NEW SOCKS & just washed shoes SOAKED and MUDDY. That was probably the most terrible bit today la... But it was FUN!
Finally we loaded into Pastor Gary's cargo van, which had no seats and no light, and drove back to church. The ride was fun because Pastor Gary drove... Kind of fast, and the guys kept bumping their heads on the roof of the truck when we went over a hump! At church we just changed into clean clothes and went for service... Oh yes... Speaking of service, there is a IGNYTE =>(youth) church worship experience "So You Think You Can Scream???" on Next Saturday, 18th November, which I want to invite all you guys to (its the one on the flyer which I sneaked into CES' bag... ) My service is at 3pm, but there's also a 5pm one if you guys want to go... The church is Trinity Christian Centre on 21 Adam Road, at the Chapel. I think its the 1st floor one... The COOL one!!! Yay. If you guys can, come okay? =)
When service was over Pastor Susie got us together for a group photo, and for prize giving! We were the Champions (Pun intended) and received a Froggy chocolate each. I ate it on the spot. Yum.
I was so happy when I got home, because Vanessa is BACK FROM JAPAN! Seriously, she could have returned at about... 7.30am this morning? That would have been PERFECT, really. Then again, if I went to CES' party with her I would have missed out the church fun and had fun of another kind. By The Way, I won't be blogging from 8 December to 11 December because I'll be in Kuantan, Malaysia, for IGNYTE Camp at Swiss Garden Resort! It will definitely be loads of fun, but I'd have to stock up on my Bible knowledge a little. Registration closes next week, so if you go for the "So You Think You Can Scream" next week you'd stil be able to sign up. I seriously hope the cute guy (I don't wanna say names because there might be friends or pastors from church reading this, CREEPY!) signs up! He hasn't done that yet.
Well then. I think this will be my only post today. Not very long. You know what? My longest post was 1,711 words long!!! Bye!

Birthday Surprise?

Today was a hard day, but a really happy day. In the morning, Amanda & I just practised the Graduation stuff, and after that, hm... What did we do? Oh yes... We had to move the 'mini-sized' chairs from the current P1 & P2 classes to the hilltop, where next years' P1 & P2s will be having their lessons. When I got back to the classroom, it was empty so I took the chocolate Yirong helped me buy and stuffed it into CES' bag! After that, we listened to Mr. Ting talk about the Nanyang Junior Alumni. Sianz. ZZzz... He asked,"Who will probably join the alumni?" I saw CES' hand, I think, so I raised mine too...
I sat behind CES during the Graduation briefing because SR forced me to swap places with her... Not my personal preference okay? Don't accuse me of trying to flirt. Haha. After I sat behind CES SR & Yirong kept kicking his chair and pretending it was me. I crossed my legs and denied it, so he pointed his middle finger at them and said, "Oh, fuck you." Then when they stopped kicking, I kicked and he caught me. He pointed his middle finger at me and said,"Oh fuck you." SR said,"You want to fuck her?" It was SO, SO funny...After the Graduation briefing, Amanda, Eleanor, Kai Cheng & I went to practise for the Graduation along with Ms Mok, 6J's CL teacher & Ms Mok. They sang quite well! Haha.
Nothing much really happened, except for after school, when I made sure I walked out of the classroom slightly before CES and his friends. I was at the sheltered walkway when I received an SMS from CES,"U sent me the choc right? Ty. :)" I just replied,"Yes. Np." I stayed at the Gate until I saw CES coming out and I hurriedly turned around... When my dad picked me and drove across the bus stop, guess who I saw? Well, no prizes la. Can guess right? =) SMART.
Just now, I received YET another SMS from CES,"Do you want to come to my birthday tmr? U can bring two girls to come with you." Wow. Sounds nice. I asked Yirong and SR, both of them can't. I thought, OhMyGawd?! Am I going there ALONE? So I asked for the details, and whether any other girl was going. The reply: NO GIRL. He only invited me because I gave him a present, and probably it was his mum who forced him. =) All the more I shouldn't go, I don't wanna appear SO 'jian'. Just to make sure I asked jokingly,"LOL. Did your mum force you to invite me? Haha." and I told Yirong, "If I don't get a reply, I'm not going." Well, I DIDN'T get a reply, but that freak CES can take hours to reply a message. One thing though, most of the time he only replies what he has to.
Guess what I did? I SMSed him,"Hey none of my frens can make it. Sry, can't go." At first, I was thinking, "Holy cow! What have you done?" Vanessa thought so too, when I told her I didn't go, she SMSed me, "Din go? What the fuck were you thinking?" Then again. after THAT incident, I decided I did the right thing. I mean, he most probably knows I like him, so I don't want to appear too desperado right? Besides, I'm not. Actually, it doesn't matter whether I'm GOING to the birthday or not. I RECEIVED the invite. Right? The choice is mine. But the invitation would have been nicer if he hadn't hinted that I was kind of self-invited.
Anyway, It would be nice to go to IGNYTE. There's this really really cute guy in my cell. I don't have a crush on him, but who knows? In the future if I get to know him, I might!LOL!!!!!
Tonight I'm going to meet my cousins... My grandmother's birthday party. Haha. My cousins are... tiny. That's a word I can use la. The eldest is 9, and the yougest is 5 or 6... Very cute. Well, gotta go prepare for the barbeque! Tatas!

I'm trapped, but no, I don't wish to get out

I spent most of the morning in the music room, preparing the song Amanda, Eleanor, Kai Cheng & I are supposed to sing for Graduation. Seriously, You should hear it-it's absolutely atrocious. I can't believe I'm supposed to sing it in front of CES & my friends!
Today was a day of disapointments. I wanted to go out to buy CES a birthday present, but because people either couldn't make it or didn't want to go (especially because Ness & Jean are overseas), I couldn't go out. So finally, I got Yirong to buy a bar of Lindt chocolate for him when she went to Coronation...
Another disapointment was that I realised no one except Yirong had prepared for the debate. This thing about debate is wearing me out! Well, it's finally over I guess, and obviously, we lost. Ahha. Yes, this is the whole thing about the 'trap'. Allow me to begin from the beginning (DUH, right?)...
For the debate, it is my usual practise to FORCE, practically, members to fufil their roles, and today was no exception. With SR as 1st speaker, Fabian as 2nd, CES as 3rd & BQ as Reply, I thought the matter was settled. However, about 10 minutes before we left the classroom for the debate, CES exclaimed all of a sudden, "I DON'T WANT TO BE 3RD SPEAKER! YOU GUYS ARE JUST USING ME AS A PAWN FOR YOUR PURPOSE!" To be frank, I was SHOCKED BEYOND WORDS. I thought, "This CES that I like is seriously an asshole." Then I thought about it. What he said really was true. But the PURPOSE of placing him as 3rd speaker was to ALLOW OUR TEAM TO DO THE BEST WE CAN, NOT FOR OUR OWN SELFISH PURPOSES. So I tried this psychology thingy I always use on Jonathan when he refuses to participate in group projects. "*****, are you a member of our team?" "Yes." "Since you are a member of our team, do you want our team to do well?" "Yes." "Since you want our team to do well, shouldn't you participate in the debate to allow our team to do well?" "I DON'T WANT TO SPEAK! I'M JUST A PAWN!" He looked set to cry.
I should have known better. Persuading CES to speak PERSONALLY wasn't such a good idea from the start. I would never be able to see him cry and I knew that. Can you guess what I did? I actually told Yirong, "Since ***** has that kind of attitude, we probably won't be able to get him to speak, and even if we do, he's not going to do his best. I'm willing to take his place." I couldn't get further from reality. One of the judges would be a teacher that didn't exactly like me. Far from it, actually. But I said THAT anyway. So Yirong asked me,"What role?" and I replied,"Whichever that no one wants." Come to think of it, what I did was really selfish. For the sake of the team, I should have gone on to make CES speak, since he was one of the best in our team, if not the best. I FELL INTO THE TRAP. My heart would really melt if I saw him cry (Gross, who's going to clean up the muck?!) I saw that before, and it was my fault. I got quite concerned, but I wasn't really sure I liked him then. Anyway, after Yirong agreed to let me take over CES, I walked over and told him,"I'm taking over your place" and walked off. Fortunately, I became the reply speaker so not a lot of preparation was necessary.
Maybe from my selfish point of view, I did the right thing because from then on CES was really sweet. During preparation he was really really nice and gave lots of ideas. The only bits that were kind of awkward was when I told Yirong and CES that I was really cold, and I stretched my hand out and told them,"Don't believe you touch la!" Rong did and she agreed. CES said,"Then don't want to touch your hand." LMAO I'm not so despo lorh, don't 'xiang wai wai'. And also when everyone was somehow squashed together, CES was beside me so we ended up squishing each other. Ew.
After school, I was at Gate A and it was raining, so CES was leaning against a pillar at the sheltered walkway. I saw him from afar so I strode slowly past him and watched from the corner of my eye whether he noticed. He did. About a metre after I walked past I stopped and leaned against a portion of the metal railing. I observed his actions carefully (haha) and fiddled with my phone. Then he walked over, leaned against the portion of the metal railing right to the left of me and said,"You know how much you messed up today?" I just said,"Well, I did my best! Better than some idiot who refuses to speak." And he said,"You know the number of times we spoke was the same? Once reply and once as another speaker." So I just said,"Fine fine fine." I'm not sure what happened after that, I think his mum called and he left....
Actually I have a confession to make. When everyone was downstairs listening to the 4th Sparring Session and the classroom was empty, I slipped a church brochure into CES' bag, inviting him over to the IGNYTE service on 18th November, and wishing Happy Birthday in advance. I'm not sure whether he saw it already. Oh yes. I forgot to tell you guys that the staring has resumed. I finally understand. CES stares at people who like him because he can't believe that they have such bad taste!
Well, I'm going to play a game with Diane now! Bye!

Stuff Readers Love to Read About-Crushes & Stuff

First of all, allow me to re-introduce to you CrossEyedSmiley, CES in short. People always tell me that CES looks damn gay and isn't exceptionally smart. I didn't know why I liked him (finally I got my pronouns right) until I got to know him better. I agree that his eyelashes are really (as in VERY) long, but he looks kind of cute when he smiles because of his dimples. =) He's actually quite kind and not sexist like other guys. This last reason I only found out through the course of our co-operation during the debate-he's rather aloquent and not as lazy as other guys even though he was reluctant to join the team and speak.
I don't know a lot about him. Just a bit. HP Number (NOT TELLING). Email. Likes red. Birthday 11 Nov (I'm getting a pressie!) Likes to play Dual Master Cards. Likes to wear Reebok shirts. I'm dying to know... Is he christian? Because if he isn't, I have to forget it. TO be frank that's not THAT hard for me... There's this guy in my church who's really cute! Hehe =) IN MY CELL AS WELL!!! (LMAO)
There were several instances in which SOME PEOPLE (RONG RONG?!) felt that CES was gaining interest in me. I didn't and don't really think so, because: 1. I'm not pretty. 2. I'm not smart. 3. I'm not nice to guys, I'm usually very fierce.
Anyway I will share these instances with you...
The first incidence was when we were at Gate A, and after staring at me for a moment CES walked up and said,"You have a crush on the Chinese Chess Teacher right?" Seriously, I COULD NOT BELIEVE my ears. That just showed how wrong someone could get. But because he said that just after I sent an anonymous admirer mail to him, I thought he had already blown my cover. Now, I think that wasn't the case...
What happened after that was that because Jean gave me CES' number that day, I decided to try it out. The SMS I got in reply was, "Who is ******? What are you talking about?" After asking Jean about whether she was sure she gave the correct number, I replied, "Don't you know Jean, Ness & I are in cahoots, Mr. *****?" The reply shocked me. "So who is honey wagon?" (Honey Wagon is the name I used...) I feel that that question was genuine, he really didn't know who. It was the dumb me who first replied,"Gawd noes. Y ask me man." and after a while regretted and dropped the bombshell,"Keep ur mouth shut n i'l tel u hu tt is. Go chk ur mail.", meaning that I had access to that email. Well, but just in case he was dumb enough not to understand, I send an email,"Yea right. I have a crush on the CChess Teacher?" and an SMS,"Honey Wagon is an issue of damuzhi. FYI, DUMBO, THAT'S ALSO ME."
I REGRETTED MY ACTION RIGHT AFTER I DID IT. It hadn't occured to me, how 'jian', crazy or desperado I might have seemed! Until, that is, it was too late. So after a day in school when he knew about me liking him and everything, I sent him an email using my real acount,"Dear Mr. *****, SOSA is pleased to inform you that you have been tricked." I CCed it to Vanessa and added in the email, "So... Vanessa? Can I expect a promotion?" Which was lame, but to prevent it from seeming too dubious I had to do that. I told Jean and she was FURIOUS and sent an email to CES saying,"As a member of SOSA, I received the email that Laura sent to you, and I can assure you that YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TRICKED. It was Laura's choice to send that email and SHE REALLY LIKES YOU. So if you like her too, GRAB HER!" Seriously, the GRAB HER bit made me sound like some kind of prostitute on sale. I didn't think it was such a bad idea but Vanessa definitely did and she sent him ANOTHER email,"My sincere apologies, Jean did not know that we have already decided to inform you about the prank." Something along that line. How confusing. Poor CES! Haha. She then SMSed me, saying, " WTF is Jean doing? If he thinks its a prank, and in class he continues to stare at you, that means he really likes you." Going by this theory, Vanessa shouldn't have sent the email, because the staring decreased drastically... Good thing there was another incident that happened on the day that CES found out (at least he knew at that time) that I liked him that would be nice to remember...
Jean & Vanessa were playing Chinese Chess and Yirong, SR and I were sitting around watching. Halfway during the game, CES walked to our table and my heart STOPPED BEATING. He just watched for very long, and then he walked away without saying anything. He did that several times... When he left, YR said, "He was SO flirting with you." That was really what she thought, but I WISH man. He was just interested in Chinese Chess.
Ahha. We acted normal except when I tried to make conversation by bringing our kindergarten magazine to school and telling him through SMS that he looked damn gay. The reply was something like," I know. The uniform was a bloody pink. Crap. You know, you look like someone who changed sex." LOL. That was the ONLY non-serious message I ever received from CES. Oh yes. Your 2nd clue. We were FROM THE SAME KINDERGARTEN.
Then came the debate, and when Mrs O asked me who I would volunteer for the auditions I said CES & Bing Quan (YES, if you were sharp enough, you should know by now who CES is). So we went for it, he got in AND I BECAME A RESERVE. At that time, that was bad news for me, but now, this is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL NEWS because speaking is terribly tiring because I get really squirmy and can't think! I now prefer public speaking because you have everything you need to say in front of you!
Now this is the embarrassing bit-what happened during the 1st sparring session. I was the 1st speaker, CES was the 2nd speaker, BQ the 3rd speaker and Yi Rong as reply speaker. Which is why CES and I crammed at the same table, side by side. At some point in time during the debate, I realised that CES was leaning back whereas I was sitting up straight and using only the front bit of my chair. When I turned behind, I was shocked to discover that CES' hand was hooked on my chair. I thought, "What would happen if I leaned back all of a sudden?" Then I thought of the disastrous. If I leaned back, CES' hand would be caught under the weight of my body, and to the members of the house it would appear as if he was hugging me! No way. I could seriously do without a lot of those future teasings if that were to happen. Fortunately, CES took it away shortly after. I think he did that just for comfort, but it felt really awkward! Oh yes. One more thing that happened during the debate. After all the speeches, while we were waiting for results, CES pointed out that I was very red, blushing, and Yirong said that I had my own personal reasons, hinting that I liked him. He SO totally misunderstood. He said, " Oh... Some cycle?" I couldn't believe it so I told Yirong, "He made it even worse than it was meant to be!" He actually said it with a straight face! I told Jean and Jean told me that he had really thick-skin...Here's the example...
Last time, Jean and CES were about the same height. After half a year, CES suddenly grew significantly taller than Jean, so Jean teased him by saying, "Wah! Suddenly grow so tall! Growth spurt horh?" Guess what he replied? "Ya lah!Puberty mah!" OMGOMG I STILL CAN'T GET OVER IT!
I think that CES should already have realised that I like him, because I actually treat him very nicely. Take for example during the class party, Yirong and I were within earshot when I heard something about his birthday, so I screamed, "TODAY???!!!" all of a sudden and he turned around and said, "11 November"... OOh. I'm getting a present and its going to be anonymous! Haha. Another example is that during debate preparation for our second sparring session, SR came up with the baseline argument and the girls copied it down. I saw that CES didn't copy so I just acted frustrated and said, "Oh forget it. I'll copy for you." I was quite focused copying so I didn't look out for any facial expressions, but I can guess that the rest of the people were shocked. I would usually have said, "I don't care! Copy!" LMAO. Fortunately I was quick with the copying and I grabbed the papers of the other two guys and copied as well so that it wouldn't be so obvious.
Another thing was that because our argument was about BGR, we kept side-tracking and teasing each other, so because there was Fabian, BQ, SR and Yirong, CES & I paired Fabian & SR and BQ & Yirong, and because there was CES & me left, Fabian pointed at CES and said something like, "Then the both of you leh?" So I just said without any expression, "Don't joke." Somehow CES knew I wasn't joking and he said, "Then what about the ***** email? Jealously right?" He said it quite soft so I wasn't sure if I heard right, but I DID send an email, asking if he liked ***** (someone) because she seemed to like him. I was stunned but I pretended not to hear. Very very extremely embarrasing.
I think this is more than enough for you to understand what goes on in my mind... Haha. Bye!!! I REALLY have to prepare for the debate now... =P

Sungei Boloh Trip

We were going to Sungei Boloh, so I arrived at school worrying about looking weird because I was clad in my green house t-shirt and jeans! I was so worried, I got my dad to drop me off on the left side of the road and took a long route to the staff room to avoid meeting too many people. I wanted to confirm with Mr. Pang if he really wanted us to dress that way for assembly. He really did. Reluctantly, I proceeded to the basketball court, and oh SURPRISE! Guess what? Everyone in my class (well, nearly) was dressed just like me, so there was really nothing to worry about in the first place. I got to sit right in front of CES during silent reading! Yay. CES looked great in that green cargo pants because it was quite baggy.
We took the bus to Sungei Boloh, just talked along the way... Boring... Fortunately, the bus ride wasn't very long and we arrived in no time.
Since it was my 3rd trip to Sungei Boloh (but only the 2nd one that I could remember details about), I knew the place and the habitats pretty well. I was surprised that although the route we took was the same, the guide pointed out different things to us. That shows why you can never stop learning!
I would say we were very lucky, because we had a chance to come up close with a giant monitor lizard (in fact, I nearly bumped into it)! I was walking on one side of the path, and because I was in front, there was no one to stop me. Walking along, I heard mumbles of "Whoa", "Oh My Gawd", "Cool", and all of a sudden, "Laura, FREEZE!" I froze. Then I looked. Whoa, oh my gawd, cool, Laura FREEZE! They were certainly relavant. Right before my eyes was a GIANT MONITOR LIZARD, about a metre long and 30cm wide, crawling ever so slowly, so I pounced upon the wonderful opportunity and snapped 29 shots of it in total. If you ask me now, I would say it was seriously posing for the camera, swinging its tail and all. Swell...
Another highlight of the trip was sighting the giant caterpillar of the atlas moth. It was about the length of two of my fingers plus my palm and the width of the same two fingers. Big right? =)
When we got back to school I was crawling around, trying to help Denise find as many beads as possible because she spilt the whole bottle on the floor. All of a sudden, I heard CES say, "Hey Laura! You're famous! Look this Dual Master Card has your name on it!" Lame. Seriously, I KNOW it (sorry, I'm just bad at pronouns JKJK) doesn't like me. Its just that the things that happen appear to be so to SOME people. More about this in another post...
Anyway, after a while, Mrs O walked into the classroom and gave the motion for tomorrows debate for the 3rd and 4th placing, which we would definitely be taking part in. It was, "This House Does Not Support Blogging." Haha. Seriously. I had always thought I liked debate until I experienced the true pains of being part of a debate team-lots of work is involved. What cheered me up was also the fact that CES is part of the 6K debate team. Well, readers of this blog, I invited you to come read this to share with you my thoughts & feelings, and of course with the intention to tell you some secrets like who CES really is. In fact, I've already given you such an OBVIOUS clue! Just keep *HUSH* about these things ok? =) Tell you some more clues in the other post too.
Right after I got the motion, I received an SMS from my dad, saying he was already waiting for me, but it was only 1.10pm! Then CLS called me and some others over to 6L, and I found myself beside CES. CLS asked CES about its survey form and travel declaration form, and it said, "My survey form hasn't been filled up and I lost my travel declaration form." WHICH WAS EXACTLY WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO ME! What's more, that wasn't the first time. CLS had previously asked for our graduation forms, and both of us didn't receive it. This SO is the wrong kind of 'yuan fen'! When CES left and I was the only one with CLS, I told her I needed to go early so she brought me to the staff room for the form and let me off.
I'm a lazy bum. Right now, I'm supposed to be preparing for the debate, but what am I doing? Writing long essays about my life. Seriously, most other debate team members couldn't care less about it, so why should I? =) Ouch. I think the laptop has burnt my leg. Haha. Bye! Look out for the other post about CES!

Videos Are Life! ~Truly~

I'm a video fan! Not just videos, but a 'show' fan as well! Nowadays, things are GREAT, aren't they? You can watch nearly EVERYTHING on YouTube for FREE! Personally, I enjoy watching Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese and Hong Kong shows the most. Now let me recommend some of which I have watched, and have found really nice! =)
Korean: 大长今,Save The Last Dance For Me, New Bride, Princess Hours, My Tutor Friend
Japanese: Death Note
Taiwanese: It Started With A Kiss, Mr. Fighting

Well... You can try them out I guess! Enjoy! You can comment and add some too... I'd edit the post and add them in!

Vivocity

Today I woke up at about 8am to check my SMSes. Nothing. Recently I've been checking my inbox SO, SO, often. I guess its because of CrossEyedSmiley (CES in short). However, CES checks its SMSes about once in a couple of hours and only replies the SERIOUS messages, like those about debate & stuff, not those that say things like, "Keep your glasses on at all times. If not you look damn gay." Which is really, really sad because everytime I pick my phone up from the table, I can feel my heart thumping "Ponk! Ponk! Ponk!"Okay that's exaggerated, but it does give you an idea of how I feel... I hope?
After breakfast, I read the papers (I LOVEEEEE reading Life!, Digital Life, Mind Your Body & Urban especially)... Nothing much, but it talked about blogs so I thought, "Hey COOL! Wish I could have one... Hm... Actually, why not?" Wait a moment. I take back what I said just now and I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAID IT! I created this blog BECAUSE of what I read in the papers, and yet I said I didn't see anything much? Oh my...
My family went to Vivocity for lunch and shopping, the largest and probably also the newest mall in Singapore at this point in time. I went there full of expectations, expecting all my favourite shops to be congregated together in one place. WRONG. Well, I was probably right about having most of my favourite shops, but congregated in one area? Probably not. The place is so big, you feel as though you've covered the whole of Orchard Road after you've entered only a few shops because the distance between the shops is really huge. Its good exercise, but if you ask me, I'd rather walk along Orchard Road for the whole day because of the greater variety of shops. Then again, there was a HUGE Espirit (MY FAVOURITE!!!), a huge Zara, Mango & GAP and also tons and tons of food outlets at Vivocity. We ate at Food Republic on the 3rd floor and I tried the 'Scissor Cut Curry Rice' or somthing along that line and it was 'Mamma Mia'! For a good price too, just $4. I guess Vivocity was built for food lovers because the number of food outlets will make any glutton like me be spoilt for choices! Its great for ice-cream fanatics too because there's both Haagen-Daz and Ben & Jerry's! That means that when you finally run out of choices in one of the stores you can simply pop into the other. But of course you have to be prepared to have to work out really hard at the gym!
I was disapointed because we didn't buy anything in the end, but the reason for that was that we didn't go into Espirit (my dad knows that when we go in, my mum and I probably can't come out empty handed). But because I'm going to The Heeren on Thursday with Rachel and some other friends, I didn't really mind. Fortunately, we went to King Albert Park Cold Storage and bought 4 boxes of 3 sticks of Haagen-Daz ice-cream! That really cheered me up. Ok I'm relatively sure I spelt 'Haagen-Daz' wrongly, but who cares! =) Maybe you do, but hey! That's your problem, not mine.
Now I'm at home, blogging and lazing around... Yep, basically that's it... I've decided I'm NOT going to add a Tagbox or change the blogskin for this blog because maintenance is impossible!
Oops, I've got-to-go bathe now! Bye and see you guys soon! You HAVE to watch Princess Hours its REALLY nice. It Started With A Kiss too! Ok more about shows in the next post, BYE!!!!!

Hi!

Hi everyone to this new blog!

Hm... I'm really hoping this is going to work out! The reason why I said that? Ahha. I have had... urm... 3 other blogs, all of which I ruined simply because I didn't have the patience to maintain them.

Well then... Wish me good luck with this one!
